Basics

I titled this blog "Basics". The problems our country face just seems like the solutions are so simple. As simple as if I told my son you only have 5 dollars to spend at the toy store so don't ask for a 10 dollar toy.

The dollar has no value, solution, stop printing more money. There are no jobs and everyone is on well-fare, well kick people that don't need to be on well-fare off of it and build jobs. All seems pretty simple. It's hard to understand how our government bogs their minds on complex ideas to how to try to fix the country but all they do is make things worse by fixing one problem and causing another.

I know that my solutions above are way too simple, but I was trying to make a point. My simple solution for job creation is pretty simple. Does anyone remember World War II? Everyone had a job, every corporate company had thousand projects. The government heavily invested in defense projects and infrastructure. There is our million and one solution. The solution to solve million and one problems (once again exaggerating to make a point.

As we know right now most of our highways, bridges, damns, levies, power grids, power plants, canals, water purification plants and harbors are all out-of-date. That is all of our basic infrastructure. Then you got our Military, granted we have one of the most powerful military force in the world, but not for much longer. China has been doubling their billions of dollars defense budget for a few years now.

"On Thursday 04 March 2010 Beijing published China's 2010 defense
budget. It totaled 532.115 billion Yuan (about $77.9 billion at current exchange rates) or 7.5% more than last year. Chinese defense spending has increased by an average of 12.9% annually since 1989 when Beijing launched an ambitious army modernization program, and this was only the second year over that period in which annual growth was less than 10%. The actual level of effort is seriously understated, and may represent as much as $100-150 billion. China's legislature began its annual session Friday, 05 March 2010." - globalsecurity.org.
They have invested in the creation of missiles that can destroy our super-carriers, fighter jets equal or superior to our new F-22s. Scary stuff.

If the our government would just stop everything it is doing right now, all spending for the exception of vital budgets and invest what ever little money we have left (or the lack of) to infrastructure and defense budget then this would create the amount of jobs we need. Contracts with corporate companies to upgrade our infrastructure and our military. This would produce millions of jobs across the country. Once people have jobs and money to spend and it will go to our smaller businesses. Small Businesses will start to boom and then everyone has money to pay taxes and then work our way out of the deficit.

Sounds basic right?

Tell me what you think. I am just thinking out loud here and maybe some will agree and some won't.

Welcome

Welcome,
I just wanted to introduce myself and explain a little bit about my show. Now, my program will not begin till I feel that I'm ready to start. I want to have the best show possible with plenty of interaction with my listeners and resources needed.

A little bit about my self. My name is James. I have traveled the world and still have a lot more to see. I have a beautiful family that I love. My wife Amanda is my soul mate and has pushed me to achieve all of my goals and ambitions. I got two sons whose names I will not mention for privacy reasons. They are still babies and they are my whole life. My wife and I inspire to raise them to be remarkable young men by instilling family values and loving lives. I am a moderate conservative who believes that the morals and values that his country was founded on is the key stone that made this country great.

In my travels I have seen nations with monarchies, socialism, parliamentary, communist and dictatorships. Some work some don't. From all of my travels it has made me appreciate more and more our United States of America. This is the only country that the mass population can take power in making any change we wish make. There will be times in this Nation that seems bleak and right now it does. I have faith that my fellow Americans and I together will make things better.

I hope with this beginning blog I can spark discussion and please feel free to ask me any questions in regards to my travels or my program. I am looking forward and excited to launch my premier and see you there.

Your Fellow American,
James
